What your future may hold
As Payroll Specialist you juggle many tasks and have a significant impact on both your internal and external customers.
9. Calculating & paying wages and premiums with pinpoint accuracy and on time, in cooperation with our social secretary (SD Worx).
10. Co-act as the point of contact for any inquiries about the payroll and HR administrative related concerns for all employees.
11. Advising HR & management regarding labour law, social & tax laws and regulations in order to improve the best practices and take initiatives where possible.
12. Playing a part in the introduction and onboarding of new staff (explaining the house rules, procedures, and the use of HR applications, etc.).
13. Maintaining existing personnel management systems to ensure correct and full information for all types of contracts (interim, employee, contractors).
14. Liaising with insurance providers on affiliations, and set up & maintain personal contributions in payroll.
15. Ensuring the preparation of employment contracts and amendments to the employment contracts.
16. Supporting in continuously improving (digital) procedures and forms according to social and fiscal regulations to guarantee an efficient management of personnel administration.
17. Supporting in implementing various projects within specific HR fields.
Your skillset
18. A proven track record of at least 5 years as a Payroll Specialist (calculating & paying wages and premiums on time).
19. Excellent knowledge of Belgian social and labour legislation & Belgian taxation regulations regarding wages and good knowledge of payroll Software (eBlox HR & eBlox Payroll are an asset).
20. You are an expert in time management, organised and accurate.
21. Excel holds no secrets for you and you’re analytical and good with numbers.
22. You have strong communication skills at different levels: external partners, internal clients & stakeholders.
23. The confidence to take full ownership and a true drive to help people and to deliver.
24. You are fluent in English and Dutch or French plus conversational skills in the other one.
