JOB TITLE: EMEA SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER
JOB SUMMARY
This person is responsible for forecasting future product demand for specific product portfolio for the EMEA region. This role involves developing accurate forecast models, collaborating with various departments to collect market intelligence, preparing demand analysis, and participating actively at consensus meetings with the commercial team to develop the regional demand plan for the next 12 to 18 months meeting business objectives. Strong analytical skills, experience in demand planning, and proficiency with relevant software are essential.
In addition, this role manages the regional execution of the supply plan driven by the global team to ensure that the product is at the right place at the right time and achieve our service level to our customers while optimizing supply chain efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect expectations of this position, but are not intended to be all-inclusive.
Demand Planning
1. Analyze market trends and ensure alignment of the forecast to the business objectives.
2. Develop monthly demand plan for specific portfolio, using statistical forecasting.
3. Collaborate with marketing and commercial to collect marketing intelligence to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals.
4. Ensure alignment of the orders and the forecast for the distributor channel.
5. Prepare forecast and inventory reports to management, highlighting key trends and potential issues.
6. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant information to improve forecast accuracy.
7. Analyze KPI’s (forecast accuracy and bias indicators) and develop improvement plans to meet targets.
Inventory Planning
1. Proactively communicate supply risks and potential issues to the EMEA Commercial team, ensuring transparency and driving mitigation plans.
2. Provide internal stakeholders with timely and accurate updates on open orders, backorders, product availability, and lead times.
3. Oversee and guide the execution of inbound flows, including shipment notifications, inbound transactions, discrepancy management, and escalations to ensure supply continuity.
4. Ensure proper execution of SOPs related to inventory planning, receipt, distribution, and warehouse operations.
5. Ensure inventory accuracy in ERP, including:
* Managing supply chain parameters in SAP to ensure proper MRP execution.
* Identifying and resolving ERP discrepancies (e.g., IDOC follow-up).
* Performing and overseeing inventory control tasks and stock movements to maintain data integrity.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
1. Graduate or university degree.
Requirements
1. At least 3 years experience in demand planning.
2. Good understanding of end-to-end Supply chain.
3. Good knowledge of SAP, APS and Demand Planning Software.
4. Preferable experience in the medical device/ healthcare sector.
