Your role As an Oracle DBA, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the performance, availability, and security of the company''s database systems. Your responsibilities will include Managing, monitoring, and maintaining Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance and uptime Implementing and fine tuning database backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery strategies Performing database installations, upgrades, and patch management Collaborating with development teams to optimize database structures and queries Troubleshooting and resolving database issues, ensuring data integrity and security Automating routine database tasks using scripting (e.g., Shell, Python) Conducting performance tuning and capacity planning to support business needs What we''re looking for Proven experience as an Oracle DBA in complex environments Expertise in Oracle Database versions 12C or later, including RAC, Data Guard, and ASM Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, backup/recovery tools, and security best practices Hands on experience with PL/SQL and scripting for automation Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS) is a plus Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail Fluent in English; proficiency in French or Dutch is an asset What''s in it for you?
