Position Overview
My client is seeking a proactive Level 1 IT Support Technician with at least 2 years of experience in Windows technology. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of computer systems and peripherals while providing first-line support to internal teams and customer solutions. You will act as a crucial link between 2nd and 3rd level engineers, helping to drive continuous improvements in IT processes and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Support:
o Provide on-site and remote support, resolving issues efficiently and documenting solutions in a comprehensive knowledge base.
o Process helpdesk tickets and communicate with users to ensure timely resolution.
* System & Hardware Management:
o Install, configure, and secure hardware (PCs, VoIP phones, printers, smartphones) following the client's security protocols, including the setup of GPO, MFA, BitLocker, and BIOS Lock.
o Oversee asset inventory, conduct annual stock assessments, and manage the decommissioning of outdated equipment.
* Supplier & Project Coordination:
o Serve as the primary Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for suppliers, managing hardware acceptance, configuration, and deployment.
o Support the management and maintenance of the mobile fleet by coordinating repairs and software configurations.
Qualifications
* Strong applied knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (Windows, Office 365), server virtualization, and ITIL best practices.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to hardware security.
* Effective communication skills, both written and oral, and strong time-management abilities.
* Fluency in either Dutch or French (C1 level) AND in English (C2 level) is essential.
* Must hold a National Secret clearance.
