Job Description
We are looking for an Expert Application Developer for the Formex C Support role, working for the Belgian Federal Public Service (SPF) Justice, with a primary focus on the application for the Courts of Appeal. The role requires expertise in Formex, C/C++, and managing databases such as Informix IDS and Oracle DB. The contract is for up to 220 days in 2025, with the possibility of extensions for 2026 and 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
* Formex C Application Support & Development
Support, maintain, and develop Formex C applications for the SPF Justice Courts of Appeal.
* Technical Expertise
Work with C/C++ programming, APICS standards, Informix IDS, and Oracle DB to troubleshoot and optimize applications.
* Collaborative Support
Provide guidance and technical expertise to the SPF Justice team to ensure efficient use of the applications.
* Database Management
Manage and optimize Informix IDS and Oracle DB integrations to ensure seamless functionality.
Required Skills:
* Technical Skills:
o Expertise in Formex, C, and C++.
o Experience with Informix IDS and Oracle DB.
o Familiarity with APICS standards.
* Languages:
o Fluent in English and French (both required).
* Experience:
o At least 3 years of experience working with Formex C, C/C++, and database management (Informix IDS, Oracle DB).
* Soft Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in a governmental or legal environment.
* Familiarity with hybrid working models.
* Previous experience working with the Belgian public sector is a plus.
