Chief Technician (CIS Security – Enterprise Edge Services Section)
Qualifications:
1. Higher secondary education and intermediate vocational training leading to a formal qualification with 6 years of experience, or a secondary education with completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 8 years of related experience.
2. 6 or more years of experience in system administration of Microsoft-based or UNIX-based operating system environments.
3. Practical experience in firewall and network proxy configuration and administration.
4. Practical experience in web application firewalls and network intrusion/prevention systems.
5. Practical experience in implementing and maintaining cloud services, and secure access services edge.
6. Practical experience in implementing and maintaining cloud-based DDoS, and web application firewall protection.
DUTIES/ROLE:
1. Assist in the implementation and administration of Cyber Security related policies, settings, and tools.
2. Provide level 2 support for INF051 related services including: Secure Web Proxies, Web Application Firewalls, Email Gateways, Remote Access VPN, DNS, and DHCP.
3. Routinely serve as CISS representative in the ESOC.
4. Provide assistance to other work centres within NISC as needed.
5. Other related duties as required.
