About the Role
The Executive Director (ED) provides visionary leadership, ensuring alignment with Greenpeace’s core values. Reporting to the Board, the ED oversees governance, human resources, financial sustainability, and external relations. They will also play a key role in maintaining ethical fundraising strategies, ensuring Greenpeace Belgium’s independence from corporate and government funding.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic plan in collaboration with experts, the Board and Greenpeace International (GPI).
- Ensure financial sustainability and resilience.
- Ensure compliance with national and international policies.
- Foster an inclusive and positive organisational culture.
- Represent Greenpeace nationally and internationally.
- Oversee financial management and ethical fundraising strategies.
