Software Asset Management presents various challenges, including ensuring compliance with software vendors, optimizing investments, and reducing risks of unplanned costs.
We aim to assist organizations in overcoming these challenges and work closely with them to define a roadmap and clear governance for Software Asset Management.

Your role will be highly varied, involving collaboration in a supportive, dynamic team. The range of clients and projects will offer continuous challenges and a constantly shifting workload.
You will be in regular contact with clients and third parties to collect necessary information and provide valuable advice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality professional day-to-day execution and oversight of various Software Asset Management (SAM) engagements, including SAM current state assessments and software license optimization reviews;
* Examine complex software license agreements and deployments to obtain license positions for various software vendors and provide license optimization advice to clients;
* Perform risk assessments of contract documentation;
* Understand and help identify opportunities for KPMG's practices and service offerings.
Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have a Master's degree (or equivalent experience) and 4+ years of relevant working experience, preferably in large IT organizations.
You should possess the following qualifications, expertise, and skills:
* Prior working knowledge of IBM licensing; knowledge of major software license providers such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, and VMWare is a plus;
* Experience with market-leading SAM tools, including one of the following providers: Flexera, ServiceNow, or Snow, is a plus;
* A broad interest in business processes and a preference for project-based working environments;
* Client-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* Fluency in English, and an advanced level in Dutch or French is a plus.
