A job at Proximus? You’ll find that everything revolves around the idea ‘Think Possible’. This means: we always assume that something is possible, even if it seems impossible. Call it a way of thinking that involves being open to a world of digital solutions that make our lives easier and our way of working smarter.
Context
Within the Network Business Unit (NBU), Carrier & Wholesale (CWS) acts as a business channel of Proximus to monetize our assets towards the external world. Those assets can be fixed, mobile, and data assets to alternative operators, service providers, and OTTs/hyperscalers to maximize the value of our network, platforms, and assets.
CWS customers are Global operators (Colt, GTT, BT, Verizon, etc.), Domestic operators (EDPnet, Dstny, etc.), Mobile players (Orange, Telenet), MVNOs (Yoin, Sewan, Citymesh, etc.), and OTTs/hyperscalers (Google, Apple, Facebook, etc.) offering solutions to both the residential and professional market. Our portfolio consists of a mix of commercial and regulated services in the domains of voice, (internet) access, and (professional) connectivity. CWS also acts as sales channels towards the recently created Joint Ventures for fixed/mobile infrastructure (MWingz, Unifiber, Fiberklaar, GoFiber).
Our portfolio is also being shaped to cope with the softwarization evolution. Indeed, CWS is working towards making Proximus a more open network and platform operator. In this perspective, a new way of selling new solutions to new types of partners will be launched, relying on softwarization. More concretely, this means that (i) our fixed connectivity portfolio is expanding with E-Access connectivity and universal CPE, (ii) supporting new ranges of services under the form of Virtual Network Functions, and (iii) offered via a new marketplace under development. That material product evolution will materialize in S1 2025.
This major evolution will allow us to:
1. Move up in the value chain with our existing customer segments (from connectivity to uCPE/VNF).
2. Develop the System Integrator business segment with attractive, innovative, efficient, and future-proof solutions, accelerating their digital business value proposition while creating new extra value for the Proximus Group.
To further support this business extension, CWS is looking to reinforce the Sales & Pre-Sales team with an experienced pre-sales specialist on ICT business with System Integrators (SI’s) in order to develop, boost, and maximize the business generation on that new line of product, in collaboration with the Sales and the Softwarization Team, in the best interest of the Group.
