Their operations are expanding into Wallonia, solidifying their commitment to growth and innovation.
Job Description
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sustainability strategy and actionable plans.
2. Stay ahead of trends, regulations, and standards in sustainable construction.
3. Manage and enhance certification programs such as CO2 performance ladder and LCA/EPD verification.
4. Lead, train, and motivate a team of auditors and inspectors.
5. Conduct and oversee audits and inspections to ensure adherence to sustainability standards.
6. Chion a culture of sustainability across departments, including HR and procurement.
7. Identify opportunities to advance circularity and reduce carbon emissions.
8. Build strong collaborations with stakeholders to align and achieve sustainability objectives.
9. Analyze performance metrics, generate reports, and implement continuous improvements.
The Successful Applicant
1. Holds a master''s degree, preferably with a strong focus on sustainability and the circular economy.
2. Demonstrates extensive project management experience and team leadership skills.
3. Possesses in depth knowledge of environmental laws and sustainable construction standards.
4. Exhibits excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal abilities.
5. Fluent in Dutch and French, with English as an added advantage.
6. Analytical, methodical, and driven to deliver measurable results.
