We are looking for a new colleague in the sustainability team.
What will you do
4. To participate on the implementation of the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)
5. To maintain and monitor sustainability targets concerning energy, carbon footprint, water, wase, etc,…
6. Collect and analyze data about sustainability topics
7. to maintain the sustainable forest management (FSC): to prepare internal and external audits and its organization. To cooperate on the FSC implementation blockchain due diligence system
8. the implementation of the Regulation on deforestation-free products (EUDR)
9. Take lead in matters about the ESG Certification: CDP, EcoVadis, Sedex and UN GC
10. Work closely with our procurement department regarding the supply chain standard (suppliers risk assessment and engagement program (EU CSDDD))
11. Contribute to the sustainability report
12. Give support on sustainability topics to several internal departments (HSEQ, Sales,…)
13. You will report to our sustainability manager
Who are we looking for
14. A Masters degree (engineer, economics, bio, forest management, environmental,…) is preferable but not a must
15. Several years of experience in this matter however is required
16. You have an analytical mindset and know your way around data and excel
17. You have an excellent knowledge of English, good knowledge of Dutch. Any other language is an asset
18. Good communication skills
19. Willing to travel within Europe (+- 5 trips a year)
