Position Summary
Planners/Schedulers within Arcadis are responsible for the planning & scheduling of Projects Activities of Concept, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Qualification and Validation Phases. The Planner/ Scheduler reports to the Lead Planner/Scheduler or when not available to the Project Controls Department Manager (PCM), and also reports to the Project Managers (PM's). The Planner/Scheduler executes assignments as per the Plans and Allocations determined by the Lead Planner/Scheduler (or PCM). The Planner/Scheduler will work closely with the Lead Planner/Scheduler (or PCM) to ensure Quality Standards are maintained. Arcadis’ clients are primarily in the Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Micro Electronic industry sectors. Arcadis provides full EPCMV (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management and Validation) services for clients. The Project Controls Team Members working for Arcadis have experience in Cost Management which is highly valued in these Specialised Sectors. The Planner/Scheduler will be a valued member of the team and will have opportunities to progress within the organisation.
The Planner/Scheduler will be proficient in key areas of Planning & Scheduling Projects in Collaboration with Project Teams.

* Ensure that the Planner/Schedulers are trained in Client specific Procedures and Guidelines where identified on the project.
* Support discipline manager in identifying gaps and training needs.
* Join relevant technical/professional organisations and Work to achieve Chartership Status.
Continuous Improvements:
* Actively participate in Project Lessons learnt.
* Assist in the development and improvement of group/discipline procedures, templates, standards and knowledge management.
* Assist in the development and implementation of tools to enhance efficiency.
Branding:
Ensure awareness and Compliance with all relevant Arcadis Branding requirements.
HR:
Compliance with all relevant HR procedures and standards.
Experience & Skills Required
* 3+ years' experience as a Planner/Scheduler or in a Similar Role.
* Proficient with Primavera Scheduling Software and MS Project.
* Proficient with Excel.
* Experienced in Planning own Work to meet deadlines.
* An appreciation of A&E, Construction, and/or CQV Interdependencies, Sequencing & Logic.
* Experience on Pharmaceutical or Micro Electronics Projects would be an advantage.
* Ability to work as part of a Team.
* Proficient in using Microsoft tools, i.e. Word, PowerPoint, and other IT Systems.
* Good Inter-personal, communication and organisational skills.
* Problem solving skills with can do attitude.
* Cost management experience would be an advantage.
* Proactive, with the ability of leading workshops.
* Willingness to learn.
* Attention to detail.
* Customer Service Focused (Internal & External Customers).
* Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
* Committed to safe working practices both in the office and on site.
* Third Level Qualification in Construction Management or Engineering is Preferred.
