Marsh Belux is looking for an experienced
Bid Manager M/F
Exciting opportunity to join our Risk Management team in Belux as an experienced Bid Manager. Your primary focus will be on supporting Marsh respond to both offensive and defensive RFP’s and also provide pre RFP pursuit support for the business. You will be working within a highly successful team, working across all of our Risk Management segment of clients in Belux.

We will rely on you to :
5. Facilitate pre-bid strategy workshops to agree client strategy plans; this may involve attending client face-to-face discovery sessions.
6. Lead the RFP pursuit from initial validation to ensure that they are viable, by challenging the team and where necessary work with the opportunity owner to put in place a plan to address any challenges prior to the issue of the RFP.
7. Review RFPs for complete understanding of proposal submission requirements and adhere to internal RFP governance.
8. Write persuasive proposal/presentation content and executive summaries that are geared toward readers’ needs and level of knowledge and that follows company best practice approach.
9. Identify major strategic opportunities within RFPs to help team extract and create more value for/from clients.
10. Facilitate opportunity strategy development, working closely with the client team to help identify client/prospect business-drivers, and create the optimal RFP communication strategy, corresponding themes and graphic approach.
11. Determine research needs, delegate or perform as appropriate.
12. Identify internal points of contact to request practice- and project-specific information when information cannot be found in knowledge management system.
13. Manage the RFP/presentation development process, assuming total responsibility for management of the proposal/presentation development process for small/low complexity projects and major responsibility for large/complex projects.
14. Coach the pitch team, ensuring adequate rehearsals are in place.
15. Conduct RFP debriefs to obtain feedback and record data
16. Share information with internal stakeholders to promote best practice and deliver business growth
17. Outside of live RFPS, undertakes other independent projects
