Now that’s making a difference.What you’ll learn and doAs a Senior Consultant - Operations within PwC Management Consulting, you will:- Work with clients to (re)define the vision and strategy for their supply chains (including Sourcing and Procurement), in line with their overall business strategy.- Leverage best practices and PwC benchmarks to identify process and organisation improvement opportunities.- Design processes, organisations and operating models, enabling our clients to achieve best practice value and efficiency levels.- Work with client resources to learn and understand their organisation, operations and requirements, assuring a tailored approach and solutions.- Analyse the impact of the changes on client operations and develop a change management approach, enabling a successful implementation and sustained results.- Assess strategic sourcing value potential based on spend/category analysis and past PwC experience.- Apply PwC’s strategic sourcing methodology to assess, negotiate with and contract new suppliers, optimising clients’ total cost of ownership.- Carry out category strategy development, contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.- Work on a variety of projects along the supply chain, improving business performance and sustainability.- Work on large transformation projects for global clients.Who you are, what you're like- Master’s in Economics, Engineering, Business administration, Sciences or comparable by experience.- 2 to 6 years of professional experience in a Supply Chain / Operations role, with preferred experience in Sourcing and Procurement as a consultant, (procurement) specialist, buyer, category manager or project manager.- Ability to combine technical/specialist knowledge with business consulting skills, to work directly with management and employees of diverse clients.- Client-centric, consulting mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong project management, presentation and communication skills.- Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French.- Flexibility to work in different environments and to easily acquire new skills and expertise.- You love both working in teams as well as independently in a fast-changing, international environment and you’re determined to help us grow our business by developing market-relevant expertise and solutions.Life at PwC BelgiumOur culture and workplace are something we’re proud of.
