We are currently seeking a Compliance Manager for our office in Antwerp (Belgium).
Compliance Manager (Fulltime)
The Compliance Manager is responsible for managing and improving Unifly’s integrated management system, mainly by ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 (Information Security), ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and potential new management systems. Additionally, the role ensures compliance with software assurance frameworks such as ED-153, supporting the organisation in meeting regulatory and industry standards.
Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain compliance with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, ensuring certification and continuous improvement.
* Plan and lead the implementation of new ISO management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 and ISO 45001), integrating them into the existing Integrated Management System (IMS).
* Implement and oversee compliance with software assurance industry standards (such as ED-153).
* Act as the project manager for the Integrated Management System, ensuring proper documentation, execution and team coordination.
* Lead and support internal and external audits, including certification, surveillance and customer audits.
* Identify and assess compliance risks, maintaining and updating risk registers for management systems.
* Continuously improve the Integrated Management System.
* Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs for employees.
* Support compliance with customer contracts, industry regulations and best practices.
* Support the teams responsible for the implementation of the IMS.
* Serve as the primary compliance point of contact for internal teams, auditors and regulatory bodies.
* Stay up to date with industry developments and emerging technology trends.
Your Profile
What combination of skills, mindset and experience are we seeking in our ideal candidate?
* Bachelor or Master’s degree;
* Minimum of 5 years of Compliance Management experience;
* Strong knowledge of ISO standards, particularly ISO 27001 and ISO 9001;
* Experience with software assurance compliance (such as ED-153) or similar frameworks;
* Strong affinity with software development;
* Project management skills with experience overseeing management system implementations and improvements;
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate across departments;
* Strong organisational and coordination skills;
* Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Very accurate and paying attention to details;
* Ability to analyse, optimize and continuously improve compliance frameworks in a technology-driven organisation;
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written;
* Experience in using software such as JIRA and Confluence is a plus;
* Interested in emergent technologies such as drones;
* Experience in the aviation or drone industry is a plus.
