Our Client is looking for Service Delivery Manager (SDM) – IT Infrastructure & Network, you will be
responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure services within your domain. You will lead and support a team of approximately 45 professionals, organized into four Agile platform teams:
• Core Infrastructure
• Network
• Windows & Linux
• Datacenter
Key Responsibilities
• Leadership & Team Management
o Lead, coach, and motivate self-organizing teams.
o Provide constructive feedback and foster a collaborative work culture.
• Service Delivery & Operations
o Ensure the effective delivery of infrastructure services.
o Continuously improve IT services for business and end-users.
o Align ICT strategy with operational execution.
• Strategic & Financial Management
o Manage the unit’s budget and justify expenditure for performance funding.
o Translate SLAs into technical components and service catalog updates.
• Project & Vendor Management
o Oversee large-scale infrastructure projects and changes.
o Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
• University degree in ICT or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in ICT, with 5+ years in an ICT management role within a large company.
Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of networks, network security (firewalls, WAF), and core infrastructure (datacenter's, servers, virtualization).
• Understanding of OSI networking model, hypervisor architecture, and cloud design (a plus).
• Experience with ITIL processes and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies within infrastructure (Agile mindset is a must).
• DEVOPS experience is a significant advantage.
Soft Skills & Competencies
• Strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage infrastructure projects.
• Experience in preparing public tenders is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (essential for internal/external communication).
• Flexible for on-call rotations (between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM).
