Ahlers Logistics is looking for a Business Development Manager based in Antwerp to grow our sales. You’ll be responsible for finding new customers, developing services, and driving business growth aligned with our strategy. WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM THIS ROLE?
1. Identifying market and customers’ needs and opportunities (for example: development of partnerships, attending professional exhibitions and events, managing incoming enquiries, through the existing network, customer appointments/meetings etc.)
2. Generating new services ideas, facilitating new services development program
3. Participating in creating marketing strategies and analyzing the channels efficiency
4. Managing and qualifying leads/opportunities
5. Business case calculation
6. Providing accurate input for sales forecasts and plans
7. Initiating the customer integration process
WHO IS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE?
Requirements for the position
8. You have been active in a commercial role for minimum 5 years in logistics, supply chain management, supply chain security, FMCG/CPG, automotive, chemical or any other theft sensitive goods. Experience in logistics with CIS, China will be a plus
9. You have excellent communication and negotiation skills
10. You have the courage to challenge the status quo
