Are you ready to lead a dynamic team within the compressor technique service division? We are looking for a passionate and innovative team leader purchasing to manage our connectivity and systems & processes team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our procurement processes and drive our divisional success.
Key Responsibilities
As a team leader purchasing you will inspire and lead the team to reach new heights. You will manage, develop and coach the team, driving talent acquisition, leading hiring effort and overseeing training and competency development initiatives. Developing a proactive and collaborative team environment through regular evaluations and constructive feedback will be a crucial part of your role.
Your planning skills will help you identify opportunities and craft a solid 3-year plan to align actions and projects with our divisional goals. Engaging with stakeholders, both internal and external and strengthening ties with our CT equipment divisions across business areas, will be essential.
In terms of supplier excellence, you will establish and maintain global supply agreements with top connectivity vendors. Evaluating vendors based on total cost, quality, logistics, technical competence, communication, and sustainability will be key. You will also manage commodities and streamline procurement processes by localizing and consolidating strategic commodities.
You will support and execute detailed purchasing plans for connectivity projects, ensuring timely execution. You will drive global development and alignment of our purchasing systems and processes.
Your focus on continuous improvement will include leading global digitalization of systems and processes for efficient purchase to pay operations. Responsibilities include enhancing life cycle management, fostering equipment and aftermarket collaboration and improving reporting for global transparency. You will streamline ERP initiatives across divisions and boos team efficiency with automation and AI tools.
As a team leader purchasing you will report to the VP Purchasing Compressor Technique Service Division.
To succeed, you will need
1. Master’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
2. Experience in procurement, business processes, IoT & electronics is beneficial for this role
3. Technical background in compressor equipment is a plus
4. Strong people management skills
5. Knowledge of systems, processes, and digitalization projects
