Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Define & implement procurement strategies for electrification & automation projects
2. Negotiate supplier contracts to secure competitive pricing & reliability
3. Optimize supply chain performance through KPI tracking & reporting
4. Develop and manage supplier relationships for efficiency and sustainability
5. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry standards
6. Drive digitalisation & innovation in procurement work flows
7. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sales, and project management)
The Successful Applicant
Qualities of a Successful Candidate
1. Educational Background: Master's degree in engineering, procurement, or supply chain
2. Experience: 5+ years in strategic procurement within a technical or industrial sector
3. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with electrification, automation, or energy infrastructure
4. Strong Negotiation & Analytical Skills to optimize procurement costs
5. Languages: Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
6. Tech & Digital Mindset: Passion for supplier innovation & process optimization
7. Collaboration & Leadership: Ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams
