GEOxyz is a leading international survey company specialized in hydrographic, geophysical & geotechnical and topographical surveys, site investigations, renewable energy support and crew transfers for the on- near and offshore industry.
The company operates primarily in the North Sea basin and liaises with highly qualified people (about ~ 270 employees) as well as state of the art vessels and equipment.
In order to sustain our growth and continue to meet the evolving needs of our clients, we are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager.

Your role
* To plan, organize, control, coordinate, lead and motivate to achieve optimal balance between cost, time, benefit and risk in marine geophysical projects with a budget up to 10 million.
* Compose and direct the on- and offshore project team.
* Liaise with the client and the project team on a regular basis.
* Investigate alternative working methods to improve existing methods.
* Draw up a budget plan in cooperation with the commercial department.
* Control the project budget on a weekly basis.
* Approve subcontractors and suppliers.
* Identify and organize any additional work under the agreed contract.
* Prepare invoices, control debtors and act if necessary.
* Take a leadership role in all QHSE matters to ensure the project is managed in a safe and efficient manner.
* Liaise closely with the QHSE department and ensure the QHSE guidelines are followed.
* Next to this, you will also be responsible to optimize the project management processes. Think of contract management, progress of vessels, implementing new tools,...
* Report on the progress of the project to the COO.
* You will do all of this at least two days per week in our headquarters in Zwevegem. However, it's also possible that you will have to go onsite (sometimes abroad) once a month.
Required skills, educational and experience requirements
* Preferable, you have a master's degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering and/or a degree in a survey related discipline.
* You have at least 5 years of experience project management.
* You possess technical knowledge regarding hydrographical and geophysical equipment.
* Experience in survey project management and/or experience in marine environment is an excellent plus.
* Experience with QHSE is a plus.
* You can professionaly communicate in English. Dutch and French are both a very nice to have.
