Group Operations Asset Care Leader
Mission
Is Plant Maintenance Management your core expertise and do you have the experience and the ambition to drive to the next level the way we manage Plant Maintenance across our production units spread in 50 countries worldwide?
In this role you will be part of our international operational excellence team based in Belgium. The job is based in our HQ in Belgium (close to Brussels). 30% travel is foreseen.
The Group Operations Asset Care Leader role is a key role within the Puratos organization. In this position, you will make sure we have maintenance and reliability programs in place to improve the technical reliability of the production lines and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness ( OEE ) .
You will report to the Group Engineering Director (Matrix) & to the Group Operational Excellence Program Manager.
Key accountabilities
In this role, you will:
1. Optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness: Support local sites to reduce breakdown time, improve reliability of assets (production lines & utilities) and reduce Total Cost of Ownership.
2. Further develop and deploy the global Plant Maintenance strategy
3. Define/implement Plant Maintenance capability building plan with skills requirements and development path for all levels across the organisation.
4. Evaluate Asset ( Production, Packaging line & Utilities) performance and utilization by implementing tools & methods. Also, coach and support the local plants.
5. Keep up to date with latest technical/technological evolution in asset care in the food industry.
6. Develop standard specifications and design recommendations for equipment such as compressors, pumps, valves and packaging equipment.
Who are we looking for ?
7. Bachelor / Master degree in Sciences, ideally Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent by experience
8. Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance and/or engineering on international scale
9. Knowledge of CMMS (SAP PM is a plus)
10. Good knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, OEE, FMEA, TPM
11. Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and developing remote and virtual teams with white and blue collars within Operations arena
12. Ability to drive solutions to complex technical issues.
13. Agility, resilience and tolerance for ambiguity and change.
14. Fluency in English both orally and in writing is a minimum. Spanish is a plus.
15. You are flexible to travel up to 30% of the time (trips of some days to some weeks mainly between Belgium, Europe, US and then globally)
