In this role you will be leading the project from pre-construction all the way through to Commissioning and Handover, with responsibility of managing various subcontractors in the delivery of a Multi-Million-Pound packages.This well-respected Contractor have been growing at a significant pace over the last couple years thanks to winning numerous landmark projects across Europe. This is the perfect opportunity for a European based candidate with strong Data Centre experience to hit the ground running in a leadership role, delivering projects for Blue-Chip organisations and become an industry recognised specialist.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDevelop business plan, cost control system, cash flow and billable schedules for the project.Produce procurement plan, drawing/design plan, construction programme, s-curve and histogram.Liaise with client and design team on procurement and engineering issues.Develop project safety and quality plans.Mobilize sub-contractors and labour in accordance with business plan.Development Project measure prior to commencement of Construction in line with the agreed project programme.Ensure projects team familiarity with the Projects contract requirements (JCT or NEC etc.).Management of your site team in conjunction with the project managers.Effective day to day running of site activities, including delivery within time constraints, cost, programme, materials, engineering, quality and safety.Attend meetings with client and hold weekly progress meetings with sub-contractors and ensure that safety and training are discussed.Hold monthly team meetings to discuss project progress against milestones.Ensure compliance with all relevant technical aspects within construction industry standards and local authorities requirements if applicable.Manage labour and subcontractors ensuring compliance for installation in accordance with the projects specification and contract documentation.Ensure that all health, safety and welfare obligations associated with the project delivery are met.Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.Ensure testing and commissioning is carried out in accordance with the Quality Plan and projects specific requirements.Prepare final account with the commercial team, submit and agree with client in line with company objective.Maintain contact with client for warranty period and thereafter when retention monies are collected.Post contract completion i.e. clearing site/archiving/financial & practical review/installed drawings and manuals/secure disposal of confidential information and systems.Personal Requirements10-15 years’ experience in senior construction positions.High project value experience (€100M+), ideally having worked on Hyperscale Data Centres.Excellent stakeholder management and people management skills.Electrical/Mechanical trades background or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.EU passport is required for this role.Seniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionIndustries: Construction, Civil Engineering, and Engineering Services
