At our restaurant Sapphire Bistro we offer breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. In this unique and relaxing bistro decor, our team brings together the best seasonal ingredients of our farm and local producers. In addition, our kitchen team uses preservation techniques such as pickling and fermenting to make the most of our precious ingredients and minimize waste.
THE POSITION
As a Management Assistant Intern you will have a lot of different tasks. You will report mostly to the General Manager and to the other Heads of Departments. Here are some examples of projects/tasks you will be doing:
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Anticipate and support the needs of department heads to ensure seamless daily operations.
· Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and safety throughout the property.
· Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all operational departments.
· Regularly review and update safety protocols and related documentation.
· Collaborate with Human Resources to optimize internal procedures, including access control and compliance.
· Conduct routine inspections across all areas of the hotel to identify and address any issues proactively.
· Lead and support improvement projects, from space redesign to process enhancements.
· Manage a variety of administrative duties to support smooth back-of-house operations.
· Provide hands-on assistance to operational teams as needed.
· Review and negotiate contracts with external vendors to ensure quality and value.
· Support additional projects and responsibilities as they arise.the current contracts with other companies to safe money.
