Your role & work environment Within our HR organization, an opportunity has become available for a Reward Expert to create a positive business impact within ING Belgium.
You will oversee Financial & Non-Financial Rewards initiative & projects. You ensure ING is a step ahead in reward processes & practices by simplifying and identifying innovation opportunities in order to attract, retain & motivate highly qualified employees and to enable ING to be an employer of choice.
The role reports to the Head of CoE Performance & Rewards Belux and assures close collaboration with other HR CoE’s, People Services, Corporate Reward teams, HR Business Partners & Business leaders. You will also interact with Audit, Finance, Compliance, Tax & Legal teams as well as external consulting firms and other HR providers. The role is based in Brussels with occasional business travels.
Your Key Responsibilities
-Ensure compliance of the reward practices with ING strategy and applicable local legislation & banking regulations (CRDV)
-Build a strong link with global Performance & Reward philosophy and build bridges between Belgium, Luxembourg and Corporate teams.
-Contribute to the reshaping & design of ING financial and non-financial reward policies and processes as well as their efficient communication towards people & leaders.
-Manage Compensation and benefits projects involving various stakeholders promoting a pay for performance culture.
-Hands-on management of reward programs such as performance management, annual compensation review, variable pay & deferred compensation (cash/financial instruments), flexible reward plan, non-financial recognition, international mobilities, …
-Ensure a sound management and maintenance of the job architecture and positions classifications. Participate in the Global Job Architecture Committee.
-Participate in annual salary surveys and make recommendations based on your analysis of competitive market trends.

Education & Background:
·University degree, preferably a Master in HR Management, Law or Economics
·Prior experience in the field of HR, Compensation and benefits, Tax & International Mobility.
