IT operations manager with a focus on software development oversight We develop in the following technologies, which also constitutes the split of the teams Odoo Development Team (3 FTE, 2 open positions) Web Development Team (5 FTE, 1 open position) Current language: Angular/Nodejs Previous languages: .NET, WebDev IBMi Development Team (4 internal FTEs, 2 freelancers) Language: (Free) RPG Position in the organization: You will report to the COO and collaborate with the IT Team Leader for Infrastructure/Security Helpdesk. Duration: 6 months, with the possibility to stop after 3 months. Potential renewal after 6 months if the absence of the current IT manager is prolonged. Key responsibilities People management of three development teams, with varying degrees of autonomy. We encourage team autonomy within a defined framework (self steering). You will support the teams in their potential trajectories towards autonomy with a particular focus on Involvement in the recruitment process Performance monitoring review One on one discussions Active support of the IBMi team regarding task allocation/backlog management. Regular contact with external suppliers and ensuring performance aligns with our needs. Participation in or supervision/handling of key projects as Product Owner DORA (impacting only the team) IBMi Roadmap/Modernization Replacement of the existing archiving system Contact with specific IT topics. Profile Experienced IT manager (3 years in a similar role) Proficient in EN/FR/NL Experience with the technologies used is a plus, particularly with the IBMi system (almost a must) Autonomous/Hands on: you will need to quickly find your way in the organization and directly handle impactful tasks Decision maker: you will need to make quick decisions based on limited information Fast learner/Self awareness: you will need to frequently evaluate yourself, as quick decisions can lead to potential negative consequences and the need to learn fast from mistakes
