YOUR CHALLENGE as Project leader: You support the EMS Project Manager in the set-up and realization of the technical maintenance projects at EMS (revisions, incident recovery and modifications of plant equipment). You ensuring the preparation, execution and after-care of these projects in close relationship with the client and experts of our team. You take responsibility from A to Z: You prepare the project by defining and setting up the scope, the budget and an integral project planning. You execute and manage the project: you guide and report on the project planning, ensure the scope definition and manage the changes, define the roles and responsibilities, you analyze and remediate the project risks and organize the necessary logistics and supporting activities. You manage and guide external resources and the departmental employees allocated to you. After care: You ensure the delivery of the project and the overall final reporting. You consolidate experiences with a view to continuous improvement and sharing experiences. You do this with attention to safety, quality, time and budget: it is your goal to achieve the formulated objectives in an efficient and high-qualitative way. Safety: you ensure the project safety policy in all aspects and all phases of the project, taking into account the EMS and plant-specific procedures and legislation. Quality: you supervise the execution of the work being done by third parties and coworkers allocated to you. You hold toolbox meetings in order to prevent accidents, physical injuries, production disruptions and material and environmental damage. Time and budget: you monitor the project budget and cost-follow-up, including managing anomalies and cost allocation. YOUR PROFILE as Project leader: You have an Industrial or civil engineer/master’s degree in a technical field of study, or equivalent by 5 years of experience in power plants or the process industry. You have knowledge of techniques in one of the professional specialties of EMS: Rotating equipment: turbines/generators, Boilers/valves or ELEC-I&C Do you have experience with small scale projects, or experience in a maintenance setting in a mechanical engineering or electronic, measurement, regulatory or automation technical field? Than this is an extra plus. You are multilingual and have a professional knowledge of Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is an extra asset. You are a great communicator, result-oriented and are able to tackle different projects at a time. You are flexible, mobile and willing to travel to our different entities around Belgium and Europe (max 30% of your time). You have a strong safety and environmental awareness.
