Our colleagues across the business look to the Talent Team to consistently provide & develop the most promising talent. As junior HR Assistant, you’ll be right at the heart of that goal. You’ll take on a wide range of responsibilities within the Talent Team, for the HR Director and the HR team. It’s no exaggeration to say no two days are the same in this role. Most importantly, we are interested in people who have a "can-do" attitude. As you will be working in HR no need to say confidentiality is also a must-have.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Receiving and giving first-line advice to people who come to the HR desk (in our head office in Diegem) with questions;
• Onboarding people and giving a presentation to explain practicalities to new joiners;
• Keeping track of the number of leavers per week and collecting material from leavers, answering questions and forwarding to the right department;
• Preparing welcome packages for new joiners;
• Planning and preparing meetings and booking of meeting rooms;
• Sending registered letters, taking care of practicalities for the HR team, like making sure they have the necessary material to go to training days or to campus recruitment events;
• Assisting in saving all kinds of documents in the personnel files;
• Helping out with admin tasks of colleagues when needed;
• Providing support for Learning & Development, like keeping track of registrations, sending out invites, creating visuals in Canva (table tents, planning, lanyards,…), providing presence lists, ensuring the compliance training requirements are met by awarding learning credits, working with our LMS SuccessFactors (no experience required), etc. ;
• Support the campus recruitment team in keeping track and saving the documents received from our candidates;
Your Profile
You have:
• A Bachelor or a Master degree;
• Professional experience in a complex & international company or the eagerness to learn all about it;
• An excellent level of Dutch, French and English (spoken and written);
• A thorough command of MS Office;
• Great team player skills, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy;
• Excellent communication skills;
• A proactive attitude by providing timely progress reports and updates on tasks and action items;
• The skills to multitask, prioritize demands and take initiatives;
• A professional behavior, ethical standards, discretion and confidentiality ;
• Finally, but not lastly, you have strong organizational skills.
