J ob Purpose:
Supports, and in conjunction with, The Accounting & Tax Managers, manages a team of staff, ensuring that the provision of all client work for the portfolio is delivered on time and to a high standard in order to meet productivity targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support Managers on coaching, evaluate and motivate team members
2. Check the workload, planning and productivity of each team member
3. Train team members in accordance with company policies and ensure internal procedures are followed;
4. Manage full client’s portfolio through expertise and team management in close collaboration with the team
5. Global review of the firm’s clients' accounts
6. Review of periodical reporting’s and annual accounts;
7. Review of VAT & tax returns;
8. Review of reporting’s according to Belgian Standards or IFRS understands;
9. Coordination and follow up client audits;
10. Manage the customer relationship and expectations, handle complaints/escalations to ensure regular communication to maintain a good relationship with all customers;
11. Preparation of commercial services offers (fee proposals)
12. Coordinates the onboarding of new clients
Your Profile:
13. Fluent knowledge of English;
14. Bachelor in Accounting - Master in Tax or equivalent
15. Member or trainee of the ITAA (Belgian Institute for Tax Advisors and Accountants);
16. At least 5 years’ experience in outsourcing firms or multinational environment;
17. At least 2 years’ experience in coaching junior staff members and managing team members
18. Strong People Management Skills and team player
19. Focus and determination to meet goals (both individual and team goals)
