Job Description
As Data Privacy Expert and member of the DPO Office, you will assist in managing and overseeing the organization's data privacy program, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and regulations, including those related to AI governance such as the AI Act. You will work closely with stakeholders to address data subject requests, privacy queries, data breaches, and DPIAs, contributing to a culture of privacy across the organization.
Your key responsibilities involve advising and providing support with regard to:
* DPO Monitoring & Plan Support
* Register of Processing Activities (RoPA)
* Data Subject Rights & Complaints
* Incident Management
* Advisory & DPIAs
* Data Protection Agreements (DPA)
* Risk Assessment & Mitigation
* Data Protection Management Framework
* Training & Awareness
* Cross-department Collaboration
* Audit & Compliance
* Regulatory Tracking & Reporting
The Successful Applicant
* Education: Belgian Master's degree in Law
* Experience: Minimum 3 years in data privacy
* Certification: CIPP/M (or motivation to obtain)
* Languages: Fluent in French, Dutch, and English (written and spoken)
* Tools: Knowledge of privacy-related tools (e.g., RSA Archer, OneTrust, etc.)
* Skills:
o Strong stakeholder management
o Business-oriented with a quick understanding of business needs
o Creative and solution-oriented
o Experience in process automation
* Mindset:
