Business Development Manager - Computer Vision / AI – Initially 6 months contract

We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth in AI-driven computer vision software for consumer and industrial markets (excluding mobile and automotive). This role focuses on expanding market share in 3D imaging by converting an existing portfolio into a sustainable business.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute business plans, marketing strategies, and pricing models.
* Drive lead generation, sales forecasting, and deal closure.
* Build and manage customer relationships, supporting market research and product roadmaps.
* Collaborate across sales, marketing, and R&D teams to identify growth opportunities.
* Support contract negotiations and align stakeholders on business strategy.
* Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
* Stay informed on supply chain dynamics within the consumer and industrial sectors.
Qualifications
* 10+ years in AI computer vision software sales or business development.
* Strong background in industrial markets; experience in computer vision preferred.
* B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or similar); MBA is a plus.
* Experience with embedded systems is beneficial.
* Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate deals, and influence at all levels.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel (20-25%).
