Support Engineer, Amazon Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP)

We are a global organization, with research and development labs based in Hamme, Belgium, Boston, MA (US) and Milan, Italy. Our development portfolio is focused on automation solutions in packaging, labeling, sortation and material conveyance that provide broad extensibility across Amazon businesses.
At our lab in Hamme, Belgium we develop & build game-changing mechatronic solutions that improve the efficiency and sustainability that Customers have come to expect from Amazon's retail business.
Key job responsibilities
Your responsibilities include:
1. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to gather and provide information on delivery dates and technical requirements.
2. Plan and monitor our in-house production planning and external delivery dates.
3. Create production routings to provide the shop floor with the correct production steps.
4. Ordering raw materials for our in-house production.
5. Pre- and post calculation of production timings.
6. Work closely with engineering teams to comprehend product features, specifications, and functionalities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of mechanical production processes (e.g., milling, turning, welding…)
- Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP is a plus
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work independently
- Proactive approach to problem solving
