What you’ll do
As Sr. Demand Marketing Project Manager, it is important that you have broad interests in the (online) marketing landscape. Below is an overview of areas you will be working with:
* Advertising: from LinkedIn Ads to Google Ads, and maybe even Reddit?
* Copywriting: you'll work with our copywriting team to help clients write headlines, texts for emails, LinkedIn posts, landing pages and so on. You speak and write perfect English.
* Automation: You will work with our performance marketing team with tools like Hubspot, Zapier and Clay. You have used these apps before and enjoy learning more about them.
* Analytics: you know the basics of Google Analytics and have also worked with Google Tag Manager before.
* Design: if there is no designer around you can follow a template yourself.
* Pages: need to optimize a page or create an entire landing page? Nice challenge.
* Tools: you find them useful and want to do more with them.
You have a background in marketing in a B2B context and at least 5 years of highly relevant work experience, for example as Head of Marketing, Director of Marketing, Marketing Lead, Growth Marketing Lead, Demand Generation Manager.
Project management
* Multi-project management: Oversee and manage multiple digital projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
* Planning and scheduling: Develop detailed project plans and schedules, and manage resources effectively to ensure project milestones are met.
* Communication and reporting: Maintain regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear updates on project progress and addressing any changes or challenges promptly.
* Risk management: Identify potential risks early on and manage them proactively to minimize the impact on project delivery.
* Scope management: Monitor the project scope closely, manage any scope creep or under-servicing issues, and ensure these are communicated and handled appropriately.
Team and resource management
* Team support: Lead and support the project team, ensuring any issues are promptly resolved to keep the project moving forward.
* Milestone management: Manage and present project outputs, deliverables, and key milestones to clients and internal teams, ensuring all parties are aligned.
* Dependency management: Understand and manage project dependencies to prevent delays and ensure seamless delivery.
* Time tracking: Ensure all team members track their daily time accurately to facilitate proper project management and invoicing.
Process and documentation
* Project documentation: Ensure all project documentation is complete and signed off, with clear records at each project stage or job.
* Task management: Create and manage tickets, tasks, and deliverables, ensuring that the team has easy access to necessary resources and information.
* Estimation support: Lead and support the team in creating accurate project estimates, ensuring realistic planning and delivery.
* Standards maintenance: Maintain high standards of project documentation, keep templates up-to-date, and ensure consistent use across the team.
Supporting the agency
* Freelancer and partner resource planning: Support the planning and allocation of resources for freelancers and external partners, ensuring project needs are met.
* Quality assurance: QA team outputs to ensure they align with the agreed scope of work and meet client expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of demand marketing, digital marketing, marketing management.
* Project management expertise: Proven experience in managing digital projects, including resource management, cost, risk, and scope management.
* Business acumen: Good understanding of small agency operations, with the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and client relationships effectively.
* Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and present confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Time management: Highly organized with exceptional time management skills and keen attention to detail.
* Leadership: Confident in leading teams, inspiring high-quality standards, and resolving issues swiftly.
