To strengthen our Financial Planning & Analysis Team, based in Limelette, Belgium, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the Junior Finance Analyst (VIE) position.
About the role:
As a Junior Finance Analyst (VIE), you will report to our HQ & IT Finance Controller and be part of the Group Financial Planning & Analysis. You will contribute to the FP&A team through preparation, analysis, reporting, problem-solving, and cost area management for Lhoist HQ overheads and Group IT.
Your role and responsibilities:
* Provide support to the HQ and IT Controller by reinforcing and strengthening the detailed analysis of the Group Overheads and IT costs.
* Support the preparation of monthly closing reports for management.
* Assist with financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting for HQ and Group IT.
* Work closely with the IT department to ensure quality data in the IT cost model.
About you:
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in financial modeling and tools.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Good knowledge of Excel (pivot, formula, etc.) and PowerPoint.
* English is a must; French is a plus.
