YOUR ROLE
As a Research Associate, you will perform daily laboratory activities to analyze the efficacy, mechanism of action, and immune responses generated by the company's Plasmid Launched Live Attenuated Virus (PLLAV) vector vaccine.
Main Responsibilities:
* Independently plan and execute in vivo studies, including general animal handling, anesthesia, compound administration via different routes, and sample collection.
* Perform a variety of immunological assays, such as ELISPOT, flow cytometry-based assays, ELISA, multiplex cytokine assays, and analyze results.
* Analyze experimental results, present findings in functional meetings, and contribute to report writing, particularly the materials and methods sections.
* Contribute to laboratory protocol writing.
* Collaborate closely with internal and external partners.
YOUR PROFILE
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biology, Biomedical Laboratory Technology, or equivalent through work experience.
* FELASA B or C certification, with hands-on experience and affinity for in vivo animal models.
* Additional skills considered a plus:
* Hands-on experience with aseptic sample handling and (primary) cell culture.
* Experience in setting up and performing various cell culture assays.
* Experience working with infectious agents.
* Proficient in English.
* Curious and eager to learn.
* Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
* Reliable execution and reporting.
* A collaborative team player with a hands-on, solution-oriented attitude.
