Function Summary
Currently, we’re looking for an Enterprise Architect (EA) to help us build and mature our EAaaS models and implement these in the strategic initiatives and operational processes of our clients' organizations.
Our Enterprise Architect helps define and/or review the standard and reusable EA products/assets that we offer as part of our EAaaS model to our clients. These products/assets are built based on industrial best practices, market demands, experience, and pragmatism.
You will be responsible for interfacing with all levels of leadership to help define/fine-tune enterprise objectives/goals and assist in designing, developing, and implementing Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategy and producing plans and EA modernization roadmaps that reflect client goals and objectives. You will support strategic projects, guide long-term technology innovation changes, and enable strategy work.
In this role, you will assist in evaluating new initiatives from the enterprise risk and impact analysis perspective and the solutions proposed/introduced to the platforms/applications. Also assessing the existing portfolio of applications and technologies as part of a continuous cycle of evaluation and rationalization.
To be successful as an Enterprise Architect, you have a passion for strategy and business execution, excellent analytical and technical skills, and be familiar with portfolio, program, and project management practices.
You have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills as we are the trusted partner at senior management levels (CxO) and program management levels.
Responsibilities
1. Evaluating business strategies, internal/departmental processes, IT development processes and suggesting improvements.
2. Creating business architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals and creating and implementing business visions and goals.
3. Evaluating systems engineering, talent recruiting, and accounting models for discrepancies and vulnerabilities.
4. Suggesting ideas to reduce costs in IT and business leadership.
5. Organizing training to improve employees' knowledge and skills for future organizational growth.
6. Providing business architecture and systems processing guidance.
7. Ensuring the efficiency, security, and support of the organization's goals.
8. Determining and implementing build versus buy strategies, mentor personnel, and views of the overall business strategy.
9. Serves as Enterprise Architect for defining enterprise portfolio roadmaps that meet specific business needs.
10. Ability to coordinate multiple assignments, organize and set priorities, and meet deadlines.
11. Assist in Architecture Review Board processes, including monitoring the pipeline of requests and scheduling reviews.
12. Proven strong analytical and communication skills and be able to work effectively within all areas of the organization under minimal supervision.
Skills
1. Minimum 10 years of demonstrable experience in the field of Architecture (Business or Information or Application, etc.).
2. Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and related disciplines: business, application, information architecture.
3. Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, etc.), methods, and tools.
4. Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills (PRINCE2, SAFe,...).
5. Thorough knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
6. Experience in IT governance frameworks.
7. Knowledge about the principal integration architectural styles and practices like EAI, SOA, APIs, etc.
8. Excellent Dutch and French communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Experience in modeling (ArchiMate, BPMN, UML, etc.) and graphic representations.
10. Ability to guide key stakeholders in their strategic roadmaps and blueprints.
