For our Client, a global Sugar and Confectionery Product Manufacturing, we are looking for:
SHIFT MANAGER
(Arlon, Belgium)
Your responsibilities:
* Guarantees that all regulatory and company safety standards and requirements are respected and effective.
* Communicates regularly on safety – including safety rules, work instructions and procedures, and learnings from incidents.
* Ensures the implementation of all actions aimed at guaranteeing the Food Safety and Quality of the products and the production processes.
* Ensures cleaning, sanitization and housekeeping of the areas within his / her area of competence, verifying the observance of HACCP directives.
* Ensures the monitoring, reporting and optimization of the production factors utilization (material, method, labour force and machineries).
* Supports the understanding of the efficiency, monitoring and optimization of indirect costs and selected other costs.
* Responsibility for the production program execution.
* Ensuring the presence of packaging/ raw materials, semi-finished needed for the shift production execution.
* Fosters the workforce motivation through listening to workforce needs and providing regular feedback.
* Responsibility for the people and organizational development and know how transfer/handover.
* Making sure that environmental standards on the lines are respected.
* Drives Lean Manufacturing initiatives inside the production area and ensures appropriate follow-up of the initiatives results.
* Supports the development of Digital Program and projects in his/her area of competence.
Our requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
* 2-4 years of professional experience in a managerial role in a manufacturing environment.
* Fluency in French and English.
* Experience in FMGC industry represents a strong asset.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Proven ability to effectively manage people in different multi-cultural environments.
* Leadership and excellent communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Interest for international mobility is a strong asset.
* Fluency with SAP environment is a plus.
