Product Owner (MyMedGas)
At Atlas Copco Medical Gas Solutions, we help customers prepare for tomorrow by designing, manufacturing, installing and servicing medical gas equipment. We provide a wide range of applications with a dedicated focus on medical and laboratory and design and manufacture filtration and condensate treatment solutions. In order to support the growth strategy of the Medical Gas Solutions Division, we are looking for a global Product Owner of our MyMedGas (MMG) software. MyMedGas is an industry-leading field service application which provides unparalleled value to our clients through comprehensive data analytics. As Product Owner, you will help steer the development, support, and implementation of the MyMedGas system to unlock its full potential. This includes driving our software development team and supporting our customers with new and innovative features. A large part of the support will be communicating with the field, gathering ideas, inefficiencies, value creation ideas then working to implement creative solutions with our developers. Followed up by closing the loop through communicating and training our team on new processes/programs.
The mission is three-fold, you will:
1. Ensure uninterrupted and efficient field service operations with our MyMedGas application.
2. Define and drive the global implementation of MMG through clear communications, developing and implementing training programs, and gathering feedback for continuous improvements.
3. Ensure customer satisfaction by adding value to the MMG ecosystem and unlocking the full potential.
You will be part of the Divisional Operations team and report to the Software and Embedded Development Manager of the Division.
Job description
You will have the following strategic/tactical tasks:
* Be the product owner of the MMG application:
o Take ownership of the product and run Voice of Customer, Steerco and any meetings with respect to the MyMedGas ecosystem.
+ Guide and direct our external software developer team of the MMG platform in line with Voice Of Customer feedback, future updates to our ERP system, and business needs.
+ Develop, maintain and implement a global training plan and material for these systems in our Learning Management System (LMS) system to ensure the competence and growth of our internal people.
* Ensure customer satisfaction from an aftermarket perspective by putting the “Customer First”. Including, but not limited to:
o Ensuring their reports are received in a timely fashion and in an industry-leading format (MMG Report design).
+ Actively engage with the field and clients to continuously improve and add value to the system.
You will have the following operational and project management tasks:
* Create and maintain training programs in our LMS for MMG.
* Document all software and process changes in Confluence (or similar).
* Be the point person with our external software developers for MMG ensuring continuous operations (uptime as well as new feature development).
* Drive the continuous improvement cycle for MyMedGas through Business Key Users, field visits/feedback and VOC meetings. Working with the divisional Software and Embedded Systems teams to integrate new features or peripherals.
* Ensure compliance with local legislation related to user data.
* Actively communicate changes and processes internally to the team.
* Safeguard our service and aftermarket operations by ensuring a robust testing process ensures seamless delivery of any new program updates and effectively communicating and managing any changes with all affected parties.
Educational requirements
Master's degree or similar experience
Experience requirements
* A good knowledge of industrial, medical or portable compressors and/or vacuum systems.
* Strong understanding of the service and aftermarket business.
* Strong understanding of field operational tools like MAM2, MS Dynamics, iAuditor etc.
* Experience in field service operations.
* Experience in project management and rolling out (communication/training etc.) of new systems to the field.
* Experience with SQL databases and Power BI, queries and programming are an asset.
* Experience managing a software development team is an asset.
Personal profile
We are looking for a dynamic professional with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
You preferably have a background in developing aftermarket solutions, creating customer value and field service organizations.
In addition to this, you have:
