Our Human Resource team is going through a transformation and become People and Culture team.
We are now looking for a new People & Culture Manager to complete the CDC Leadership team. To be successful in this role you act according to the Volvo Leadership Values and care deeply for the well-being and the development of your team members and colleagues.

Your ideal job?
1. You act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement in a culture of high performance
2. You build strong relationships with the leaders on strategic, tactical, and operational levels (from employee complex issues to individual development plans or organization design activities)
3. You are the leader of both the People & Culture team and the Health and Safety team
4. You drive and provide analyses and guidelines in areas such as Competence Development, Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Workforce Planning, Recruitment and Compensation and Benefits.
5. You secure and develop collaboration with all relevant stakeholders on the Gent site and within the Volvo People & Culture community

Your Qualifications
12. Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related discipline
13. 10 years' experience in human resources including at least 5 years of managing an HR team and/or function.
14. Thorough knowledge of Belgium employment law and HR professional practices
15. Experience working in a union environment and or with union employees is required.
