Job Summary
As a Data & Analytics Marketing Trainee, you will support the Marketing team by organizing and managing documentation, creating engaging presentations, and assisting with data-driven insights. In this role, you will collaborate closely with data analysts, BI analysts, and data engineers to help transform raw data into valuable information that informs marketing strategies. Through hands-on projects, you will develop foundational skills in data analysis, visualization, and reporting—while honing your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
Among others, you will:
* Documentation & Presentation Support
- Organize, update, and maintain marketing-related data and analytics documentation (e.g., standard operating procedures, data dictionaries).
- Assist in creating visually compelling presentations and reports for both internal and external audiences, focusing on marketing campaigns and performance results.
- Ensure consistency, clarity, and professionalism in documentation and presentation materials.
* Analytical Support:
- Assist in gathering, cleaning, and preparing marketing-related data under the guidance of senior data/BI analysts.
- Contribute to basic descriptive analyses, exploratory data analysis, and hypothesis testing on marketing campaigns or initiatives.
- Learn to manipulate data using programming languages such as Python or SQL to uncover trends, patterns, and insights relevant to marketing objectives.
* Visualization & Reporting:
-Help create dashboards and visualizations that communicate marketing performance metrics effectively, using tools like Power BI or QlikSense.
-Present analytical findings to the marketing team in a clear, concise manner to support informed decision-making.
- Continually seek ways to improve reporting structures to ensure they align with evolving marketing needs.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
* Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Analytical Aptitude: Strong interest in leveraging data to influence marketing strategies and tactics.
* Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication in English. Ability to convey technical information to a marketing audience.
* Teamwork & Collaboration: Willingness to work closely with crossfunctional teams (Marketing, IT, Data & Analytics) to achieve shared objectives.
