As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for executing short and mid-term supply planning processes, ensuring an optimal balance between service, cash, and cost. Function
* You’re responsible to manage the stock in the distribution network, you create replenishment orders and organize transportation between warehouses. You make sure that the right products are available in the right warehouse at any point in time.
* Based on forecasted needs, you create purchase orders and manage the deliveries of external vendors. You’re responsible to have the correct products on hand in line with the service level targets. You follow up on delivery performance and complaints with the vendor, you escalate in case of recurring issues. You lead the mid term planning process for the external vendors.
* You manage the inventory level of the full assortment in the distribution network and you make sure that the correct inventory is on hand to meet the service level target on short and mid term.
* You support new business by detailed follow up until new business is running smooth.
* You make sure that the inventory in SAP is aligned at any point in time with the physical inventory of the external provider. You make sure that actions are being completed to reduce the slow moving stock in the external warehouse.
* You communicate well with the suppliers, external warehouses and transportation companies. Internally you work closely together with customer service, warehouse, purchase and quality.
* You’re responsible to create and maintain material master data in SAP. You support the master data governance by frequent checks and corrections where needed.
* You detect, analyse and implement improvement projects to optimize the distribution network.
In this role, you will report to the Supply Planning & Masterdata Manager and join a dynamic team of Supply Chain Specialists and Supply Chain Planning Managers.
Your Profile
* You have a bachelor- or masterdegree preferably in logistics or economics.
* You’re hands on and accurate.
* When things go wrong, you manage to stay focused and solve the situation. You’re stress resistant.
* 1-3 years of experience in supply planning roles with focus to optimize the balance service – cost – cash is a plus
* Knowledge of SAP, specifically MM, MRP parameters is a plus.
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple internal and external functions.
* Knowledge of excel is a must.
