We're seeking experienced and results-driven individuals in Ghent who have experience in Account Management and Payments/FinTech to join our energetic sales team at Lightspeed Commerce. As an Account Manager, Capital you will be responsible for managing a book of retail and hospitality customers to support the growth and operations of these Lightspeed customers through the offering of our Financial services.

What you’ll be responsible for:
1. Providing exceptionally high levels of service and use effective sales techniques to position and drive awareness on Lightspeed Capital for merchants;
2. Building a trusted advisor relationship with your customers and identify where Financial Service opportunities lie across your book of business;
3. Negotiating contracts and close agreements to maximise the growth of your book of business;
4. Achieving sales targets by providing exceptional advice and service to each merchant and coordinating with the Regional leader for Account Management to maximise opportunities within the assigned territory
What you’ll be bringing to the team:
5. Sales experience, preferably selling a financial service product, with a track record of high performance for several years running
6. You are committed to a culture of positivity and high performance
7. You enjoy the challenge of exceeding targets
8. Have excellent written and verbal communication
9. Hold professional poise and confidence while communicating with executives
10. Value feedback and thrive on constant improvement and learning
11. Strong work ethic, and a self-driven desire to succeed
12. Fluency in Dutch, French and English
Even better if you have, but not necessary:
13. Experience in the hospitality industry
14. Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment;
15. Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organize pipeline
16. Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build solid partnerships both internally and externally
Experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry is a definite plus
