What you'll do
As a Platforms Specialist, you'll take ownership of:
Platform Architecture: Designing, installing, and configuring solutions such as databases, Middleware, Virtualization, and containers.
Automation & Orchestration: Implementing and operating tools to streamline and enhance platform operations.
Monitoring & Reporting : Using advanced tools like Splunk to manage platform health and performance.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshooting and solving platform challenges efficiently.
Shared Services: Managing software like OpenShift, Splunk, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
Backup & Performance Optimization: Ensuring robust backups, conducting restores, and fine-tuning performance.
Documentation: Crafting and maintaining technical documents and operational procedures.
Your skills & expertise
We're looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who brings:
Proven ability in detailed platform design and implementation.
Strong experience with search and logging tools like Splunk and Elasticsearch.
Expertise in DB, Middleware, Virtualization, and container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
A knack for performance tuning and analysis.
