What''s the purpose of the role? As a Commercial Manager, you will be involved in setting the overall direction, strategy, and performance of the organization and planning. You will develop all aspects of the business, translating them into action plans to achieve agreed sales and profitability goals. Goal achievement is typically accomplished through the performance of direct and/or indirect reports. This can be by designing, planning, deploying, and implementing the commercial strategy of B2B operations or by leading the deployment of commercial strategies through the sales field teams (B2B and B2C). This role is critical to deliver optimal performance, whilst controlling costs and fostering client and stakeholder relationships. Key Accountabilities: Building trade brand advocacy: Analyse, define, and develop the sales objectives, strategies, and action plans for the different channels. Set priorities and targets: Supervise the planning and execution for the different channels both for B2B and B2C, to maximize our impact. Creating a positive and collaborative team spirit: Empower people and enable personal growth. Provide, improve, and assure communication within the team and with other stakeholders to create a transparent communication flow that fosters collaboration. Collaborate with internal stakeholders: Identify opportunities and implement high quality solutions for our consumers. Build strong relationships: Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (retailers, trade partners). Manage the annual budget: Forecast, get approval, allocate, and manage the annual budget to maximize financial resources to achieve the agreed sales and profitability goals. Maintain long term partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders to secure long term partnerships. Improve business processes: Constantly review and improve business commercial processes to enhance business efficiency and financial and operational performance.
