We are looking for a Master Scheduler to join us in our Internal Manufacturing organization based in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.
About the role:
The position is based in the UCB laboratories and offices at the Braine-l’Alleud campus
You will be in charge of Supply for Braine Plants and manage activities per work center and Supply flows (transpose customer demand into production plan).
You will integrate demand Master Planning & Development (Commercial & Development products), prepare and implement production plans and testing requirements and calculate material requirements (MRP) to optimize the availability of products, reduce inventories and optimizes cycle time.
What you will do:
1. Day-to-Day Supply Coordination :You will oversee daily activities related to quality control testing.You will ensure materials are available to support both commercial and development production.
2. Optimization and Management :You will collaborate with Development, Plants, and other Supply Chain services to optimize capacity utilization, stock levels, and deliveries.You will prioritize tasks to meet service levels at the lowest total cost.
3. Production Planning :You will develop a reliable and feasible production plan in OMP for a 0 to 12-week horizon.You will ensure the plan meets service levels, capacity utilization, and inventory targets.You will adjust the plan as needed based on changing requirements.
4. Capacity and Problem Solving :You will work with the Supply Network Team to manage capacity availability and resolve issues.
5. Escalation and Reporting :You will escalate and present critical issues (Hot Topics) to the Global Supply Chain team.
6. Performance Monitoring :You will track actual production and testing versus the plan.You will conduct root-cause analysis and revise the production plan as necessary.You will organize coordination meetings to address discrepancies.
7. Material Requirements Planning (MRP) :You will ensure appropriate MRP runs and controls to guarantee production flexibility.You will maintain targeted inventory levels.
8. Coordination of Product Flows :You will accelerate product flows by coordinating with Procurement, Production, Warehousing, Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and Shipping departments.
9. Inventory Management :You will periodically review the ABC classification and safety stock levels (generally quarterly).You will optimize service levels and inventory targets.
10. Planning and Coordination Activities :You will actively participate in BTO (Build to Order) Planning processes and out-of-stock management meetings.You will ensure alignment of actions to meet supply targets.
Your role is crucial for maintaining efficient supply chain operations, ensuring quality control, and meeting production targets while optimizing costs.
For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
11. You have 5 years minimum of experience in Supply Chain with past proved experience in Planning activities
12. You have experience in SAP & OMP+ or demonstrated capability to adopt ERP systems in place
13. You have a background in pharma Operations is a plus
14. You have an analytical mindset, KPI and Result Driven
15. You can demonstrate Planning and constraint management capabilities
16. You have the ability to learn fast within a complex environment
17. You are sensitive to the cost controlling dimension of the job
18. You are a rigorous person, able to go from High view to very detailed view
19. You have the ability to influence others at all level of the organization
