What you will do
We are looking for a manager to join our R&D PMO team. This team oversees governance, standardization and best practices in project and resource management across R&D imec. The R&D PMO collaborates with senior leadership to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and maximize value delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and best practices in a complex enterprise environment.
As part of the R&D PMO team, you will interact with different sector PMOs and expertise center resource management offices. You will report to the Business Enterprise Architecture director.
Your role crucially enables our organization to invest resources in the right work to deliver our strategic objectives while contributing to improved project outcomes, better resource allocation, enhanced project risk management, and overall organizational efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
* Drive operational adoption of IMEC R&D project- and resource management & operational processes through PMO’s and RMO’s.
* Drive imec R&D operational standardisation & efficiencies.
* Identify change management efforts to enhance organizational adoption of IMEC PMO, project and resource management processes.
* Develop and deliver executive-level reports, KPI-dashboards, and presentations on enterprise R&D level.
* Foster collaboration between project management offices, resource management offices and enabling units.
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing insights on enterprise level project performance, risks, and opportunities.
* Continuously assess and enhance the maturity of project, program, and resource management capabilities.
* Implement tools and technologies to improve project tracking, reporting, and governance.
* Mentor and coach PMO members, project managers and business leaders on best practices.

Who you are
* 8+ years of experience in project/program management, with at least 5 years in a driving role within a PMO or strategic execution function.
* Proven track record of establishing and scaling enterprise PMOs in complex, matrixed organizations.
* Experience in PowerBi & Clarity PPM tooling is preferred.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into actions.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.
* Change management experience with a focus on driving a culture of continuous improvement.
* PMP Certification is an asset.
