What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
* Acting as a customer-oriented BP & providing strategic decision support to cross-functional brand teams, Global commercial functions, Country Finance Directors, and Commercial Controlling.
* Helping to steer & optimize global commercial performance and being responsible for commenting and story-lining according to strategy.
* Being responsible for regular reporting to rating agencies and bond holders, leading commercial controlling chapters for bond documents (OM and management presentation).
* Independent preparation of reports for top management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
* Being the first contact point for the preparation of annual financial statements for commercial business including impairment tests and management reports.
What you'll bring to the table
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance and Controlling or other business areas.
* Minimum 5 to 8 years of work experience in finance & controlling.
* Strong business understanding paired with analytical and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in story-telling.
* In-depth experience with reporting & analytics technologies (GRIPS, Qlik, Power BI, BW, etc.).
* Broad and in-depth understanding of finance & controlling processes.
* Fluency in business English; German is a plus.
