Your future role
As Continuous Improvement Intern, you will contribute to reducing the internal reject rate while supporting continuous improvement initiatives:
* You will work on four production lines (chocolate molding (2x), chocolate wrapping and truffle) to analyze internal rejects.
* You will investigate key rejection sources, including truffle cascade issues, reworking, chocolate and wrapped rejects, caramel/praline recycling, glitters, and more.
* You will provide feedback and recommendations to reduce the reject rate.
* You will monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
* You will contribute to a broader plant-wide initiative aimed at reducing the overall scrap rate.
* You support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
* You will update the bill of materials, including chocolate and ingredient consumption and scrap data, for the 2026 budget and collection.
Additionally, you will take part in auxiliary projects supporting various aspects of production and innovation:
* You will support production activities to enhance efficiency.
* You will track and analyze KPIs, including OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
* You will contribute to process improvement initiatives and follow-up actions.
* You will participate in new product development and R&D testing.
The profile we are looking for:
* You are currently enrolled in a Masterâs Degree, preferably related to Engineering.
* A previous experience (internship) in the food industry would be a plus.
* You have knowledge of lean management principles and an understanding of production processes.
* You have a good command of Excel.
* You are proficient in Microsoft Office.
* You are fluent in French and have at least a B2 level in English.
* You have strong analytical thinking skills.
* You are familiar with communicating with production operators.
* You are methodical and meticulous in your work.
* You have strong organizational and project management skills.
* You have the ability to work independently and take initiative to achieve desired results.
