Keyence, a Japanese company specialized in high technology products such as sensors, microscopes, laser markers and vision measurement systems, is hiring a Technical support officer. The company is a global leader in automation industry responsible for delivering high-precision and innovative products to companies worldwide.
On your role as a Technical Support Officer:
• you will become an expert in one of our product lines
• you will support our Sales Engineers and Clients when it comes to your assigned product line.
• you will also be an internal trainer for your colleagues, and you will be assisting with new product launches by providing trainings materials, knowledge sharing and customer trainings. This position is based in the HQ in Mechelen.
As the company focuses on a professional approach towards the clients, they are servicing them in English and their own language. Therefor they are specifically looking for a colleague who is very fluent in Dutch, French, German, Italian, Czech, Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, Slovakian of Slovenian.
Your responsibilities?
• Supporting the Clients and Sales Engineers via email, phone, video or face-to-face regarding your assigned product line
• Training your colleagues and clients
• Taking care of technical documentation/ translation.
Profiel
What do we require?
• First experience in customer service or technical support
• Fluent speaker with a high level of English in speaking and writing. As an extra; you are a very fluent speaker in one of the other European languages spoken with the clients; Dutch, French, German, Italian, Czech, Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, Slovakian of Slovenian.
• Interest in Technology and Technical products; an on the job training will be provided!
• Good problem solving and communication skills
• A technical education or experience is a plus but no must at all!
• As you will be traveling towards your clients a drivers licence is required!
