Product Manager

Our portfolio includes beneficial insects, predatory mites, nematodes, bumblebees, biopesticides, and monitoring and scouting tools. BioFirst services both the horticultural market and the agricultural market through four brands: Biobest, BioWorks, Plants Products, and Biotrop.
Biobest's data-driven monitoring & scouting business is developing and expanding rapidly. To further support our growth, we are looking for a Global Product Manager Monitoring & Scouting at our headquarters in Westerlo.
Your mission
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Market Development Manager High-tech. As the product specialist and the key point of contact for your product portfolio, you will inspire a diverse audience both internally and externally.
Key responsibilities
* Oversee Biobest’s scouting and monitoring portfolio on a division level, including high-tech products like Trap-Eye and PATS-C as well as sticky traps, roller traps, and pheromones.
* Translate customer and market needs into new opportunities and improvements through regular and direct contact with our customers.
* Coordinate the innovation process through the Stage-Gate method.
* Prepare comprehensive business plans for new product innovations.
* Support product launches in close collaboration with R&D, Operations, Sales, and local teams in different countries.
* Develop marketing and launch plans in close cooperation with local teams and coordinate their implementation.
* Provide training and education for our technical and commercial teams.
* Manage and build relationships with external partners.
Your profile
* You have a higher degree in a relevant technical field and a strong passion for sustainability and innovation.
* You have successfully launched a product and have at least 3 years of experience in product management, ideally in an international context.
* You are enthusiastic about new technologies and IoT applications.
* Your project management skills are complemented by strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
* You are known for your customer-oriented and entrepreneurial approach.
* Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages (French, Spanish, German) is an advantage.
* You are willing to travel regularly to meet the needs of this global role.
