As an Industrial Software/Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for the execution and follow-up of projects related to industrial software and hardware applications that support pharmaceutical processes. The system is part of a plantwide automation concept and integrates with equipment (PLC), measurement devices, sensors, MES, reporting, and monitoring systems. Projects range from implementations and improvements of existing systems to the development of new systems and concepts.
Your focus will be on system integration, where optimal use is made of knowledge of the underlying infrastructure and software/hardware building blocks. This requires a broad technical background. Everyone in the team contributes to supporting industrial software and solving technical issues. GMP-validated systems are used, meaning that GMP standards and procedures are applied in every aspect of the work.
Responsibilities:
* Build expertise in industrial IoT edge systems in the domain of environmental monitoring
* Take ownership of various projects and steer them to success
* Communication and collaboration across teams
* Technical realization (integration, configuration, rollout)
* Application of GMP standards, validation, and documentation processes
* Provide support and implement improvements
* Maintain excellent working relationships with users and stakeholders in production, maintenance, engineering, and QA
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, automation, electronics, or equivalent
* Strong analytical skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
* Strong affinity for software and computer systems
* Knowledge of databases (SQL) and networking technologies
* Strong communication skills
* Proficiency in Dutch and English
Additional Skills That Are a Plus:
* Knowledge of automation (PLC, OPC, I/O...)
* Knowledge of DevOps, Docker, GitLab
* Knowledge of software development (.NET, Python, Angular)
